A 30-minute walk from our lodge will take us to other amazing rainforest scenario: the mammal clay lick. Waiting patiently in a specially-built cover up we will sit for the Brazilian lowland tapir to appear. Other mammals that use this lick as a current spot include dears, giant anteaters, spider monkey, capybaras, the largest rodent on Earth, and on some occasions roaming jaguars. |
