The cliffs of Tecsecocha are a geological wonder, formed by the erosion of rock over time and shaped into a series of vertical columns that resemble a staircase.
Tecsecocha translates as "a place where water flows from top to bottom" in the Quechua language. The name has been given because the place is surrounded by an imposing waterfall and we can find tombs and cave paintings of the first settlers of this magical and historic place.
We will pick you up from your hotel at 9:00 am and head towards the District of CCorca a 45 minute ride reaching the highest point at 4075masl.
Here we will start with the use of safety equipment and then begin the descent on bicycles observing unique landscapes such as the Quiswarcancha Wetlands and the Inca trail or Qapaq Ñan route that was also known as the fish route, after a descent of 1 hour (09km distance) we will arrive at the Farallones de Tecsecocha, place where we start our walk to visit this magnificent place and 5 minutes away we will have the opportunity to see the cave paintings of Tecsecocha and part of the native flora of the place as Queuñas, the journey to the cliffs is 30 to 45 minutes approximately a path of stone steps observing the geological formations in the descent, and skeletal remains of ancient Peruvians.
Arriving at the place we will have time for photographs and exploration of the place, at the end we will have our lunch, after that we will return to Cusco.
